Hokkaido Soft Ice Cream on a Waffle Cone

At the moment the Hokkaido Soft Ice Cream from Milca is my favourite ice cream in Singapore! My cousin introduced me to ‘milca’ and ice cream heaven, at the Food Hall at basement 4 of ION (this mall is huge and goes 4 levels down and directionally challenged me, always gets lost). The wafer thin sweet crisp cone is the best part. It goes so well with the ice cream which has a wonderfully light milky taste.

It’s $5 Singapore dollars for a large cone and $3.50 Singapore dollars for a smaller one. It’s an indulgence that is worth every calorie. We had a small one with mango sauce topping and 2 big ones with warm chocolate sauce as a topping. Being chocoholics, my cousin and I usually go for chocolate.

The girl at the counter was nice to allow me to take the photos and even pose for the camera. At some places they frown if you try to take any pictures, so I’m bad and do it anyway, surreptitiously of course.  How else am I going to tempt my sweet readers to cast aside their diets and indulge a little.

Oh my God. These pictures could not tempt me anymore than they possibly do right now. This article is AMAZING. Thank you so much for posting! Also, Bill Bryson is one of my absolute favorite authors of all time too. I am glad you enjoy him!
