Nordic Designs at Friven & Co

I wanted to check out more nordic inspired furniture so I headed to Friven & Co which is just opposite Tanglin Mall. I just wish there were more Scandinavian furniture stores which are affordable, like Ikea, in Singapore.

There is actually a charming looking cafe here, Tanglin Tree, which we hope to check out one day.

The magnetic tissue case holders were too garish a pink for me and way too expensive at almost $40 Singapore dollars. I would have liked it in the lighter pink shade or even gold, that the jewellery boxes and trash bins came in.

The trays were beautiful especially the one with the lavender flower print, but again too expensive at almost $50 Singapore dollars.

I am starting to like apple green.

Lately I have been into blackboards and I found this little girl’s desk set cute.

Only upon leaving the place did I spot the cup that I was enamoured over. I didn’t see this in the actual store though. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s out of stock.

Think I will be sticking with Ikea.
