I don’t like the top half of this gown. It just looks odd somehow. The turtle neck and the updo make her seem matronly and harsh, especially after all that gorgeous red gown she wore at the Russian Premiere. Maybe she’s channelling the Sleeping Beauty Wicked godmother role that she will be playing in a future Tim Burton movie. Or perhaps the designer wanted to show off her back tattoos, as the dress is backless as well. It just reminds me of a badly tied black chiffon sari.
Although Jolie is leggy enough to pull off the dangerously high slit. The bottom half of the dress is infinitely better. More at D-Listed.
