I think it’s so cool that there’s a whole section for Indian books, including those in English. I chanced upon it when I was looking at books about Kerala in the Travel section and came across none. The nice librarian (expert is what they are called) helped us by directing us to the right section). It’s new and decorated with lovely heritage items.

Borrowing a book is a cinche too. Just put in your identity card and place each book, one at a time on the counter thingy. Today I discovered that each person can borrow 6 books.
