When They Were Young: Meryl Streep and Barbra Streisand

I just love this shot of Meryl Streep when she was really young. Not only is she talented, but boy was she a natural beauty. I really want to re-watch Sophie’s Choice. I watched it with my dad, but I was too little to understand it.

Another striking beauty was Barbra Streisand. Now I can see the resemblance, with a younger pre-friends, Jennifer Aniston.

They both had wonderfully distinctive noses and we should be glad a plastic surgeon did not destroy their faces as they have done with many noses that do not fit the norms of beauty. I think they look even more stunning, because of their uniquely shaped noses.

I thought Helen Mirren was brilliant once again in ‘The Last Station’ based on the Life of Tolstoy. Here is a picture of the young beauty who was quite a sex symbol in the 70’s.

Meryl Streep was, and still is beautiful. I rewatched Sophie’s choice recently. I loved it the first time, but even more the second. Helen Mirren is also fabulous – not sure about Barbara. She spoiled it for me with her appearance in one of the worst movies ever made – Yentl – yuk.

I really want to watch Sophie’s Choice. It’s one movie that I have been wanting to watch properly for the longest time. I watched bits of it as a kid, but that just doesn’t count.

Green living ideas are important in showing people how to conserve energy and turn that conservation into meaningful energy
savings. Some of the drawbacks of such systems is that it isn’t necessarily dependable.
However even though many renewable energy
option is best suited for big scale generation, wind turbines are very successful when reduced to your size well suited for home wind power and
they are creating a substantial contribution to
    your household’s electricity requirements.
