#55. High Tea at Raffles Hotel’s Tiffin Room

It’s quite a treat to have high tea in Singapore and Raffles Hotel is a great location, especially with the private room. My other favourite place would be Shangri-la which tops my list because of the unlimited amount of teas and coffees you can try.

Decided to post old photos of a high tea we had at Raffles Hotel to celebrate my aunt’s birthday. These are from 2006 and I hope to go back again one day. The service was warm and excellent and they even gave us a private room when they found out we were celebrating a birthday. My aunt even got a complementary cake and a Singapore Sling.

The Raffles Hotel has beautiful old colonial architecture and Michael Jackson stayed here when he visited Singapore in the 90’s.

Haven’t got the chance to try afternoon tea here, what do they serve?

actually most high teas don’t vary much….the usual dim sim, pastries, kueh. These are old pictures so haven’t been here in quite a while. It’s more the ambience that I go for and the great company 🙂
