City Square Mall

Just a lazy post about a mall my older cousin R likes alot (I have a younger cousin R too).  We call it her mall, as she likes to go there quite often. I think the free parking during lunch hour would be pretty attractive to many people and it’s just across Mustafa in Little India.

Astons has cheap affordable western cuisine like steak, fries, grilled fish so it’s great news that a branch is opening here.

A cute tray/plate, I spotted at Picket and Rail ( a local furniture store that is pseudo American)

Spotted outside the department store called Metro which is one of the oldest in Singapore. I recall that Metro was the most upmarket place around in the 80’s. These days, it’s ION.

I have never tried this Japanese snack, but the octopus icon is cute.  Although I hesitate from trying Singapore versions of Japanese food.  Found they pale in comparison and disappoint.

Ohhh I LOVE this mall! I totally understand your cousin. I used to go there all the time when I lived in the neighborhood – groceries, clothes, home items, amazing food – it’s one stop, affordable shopping! (and apparently eco-friendly too?)
