Hokee Chicken Pau

I’ve recently discovered that Chicken Pau (steamed bun with stuffing) is really tasty when my cousin R bought us some. Yes, it’s only a recent discovery as I usually only have Char Siew (BBQ Pork) or Tau Sar (Red Bean Paste) ones.

Since then I have been searching for a really good Chicken Pau and have been disappointed. Recently I finally discovered a pau that was not dry and average. It was the pau I had from the Hokee stall at Ang Mo Kio Hub. It’s a great light lunch – so yummy, moist and flavourful. The coloured dot on the pau indicates what’s in the stuffing. The chicken ones come with a yellow dot.
