There is still my favourite iced lemon tea that I think Arbite does best, but I now also love the creamy pasta (Pappardelle with mushrooms and parma ham). The mushroom soup was lovely and so was the naturally sweet carrot soup that was the soup of the day. It would be great if we could get complementary warm bread with the soup.
The little nordic styled restaurant also looks more inviting now, with the wall of food photography. There’s a new deal that if you spend S$300 in 3 months you can a friend of Arbite card which will mean 15% discounts. Sounds like a great deal, but wonder if we can really reach that amount in 3 months unless we come in a really huge group.
The fluffy potato that was under the buttery baked fish was so good.
I just like this establishment’s cute lego decor that’s on the wall of the entrance as you go up the stairs.
Here’s a peak at the menu.
The younger owner is always so polite and nice. The wait staff are excellent too. The owner has recently appeared in the Straits Times, 8 Days and other media. I like seeing nice people with small businesses and great passion, get successful. Someone told me that they couldn’t get a seat here during the weekend, and you have to now make reservations.

OK…when are you taking me?
wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could teleport ourselves from one country to another 🙂 I would definitely go where there’s snow right now.
I know, I know…I’ve been so quiet. I AM coming back in some form or another. SO busy at the new job and love it. HOWEVER, I had to comment that I am still faithfully reading your wonderful blog every day and this post in particular has my tummy growling ! Great post!
Yay LD…missed you so much! 🙂 I am so glad you’re having a blast at your new place. Gives me hope too that there are good workplaces out there….we just need to find them 🙂
