Tiny Vices by Mary Karaplis

I think Vancouver’s Mary Karaplis is an amazing artist.

This particular illustration applies to me so much, it’s not even funny. I find it impossible not to dwell on the past though.

This is another amazing one – I love how she drew the ocean. And there’s even one about how technology invades our lives. There’s even one about how she hates sweating and that totally applies to me.

I think Mary who goes by Mei K, is a young genious and her pictures truly speak a thousand words. You have to check out her Live Journal Blog and go through it slowly, like I’m doing right now. You’ll come across some gems like these. It’s the truth and honesty that grab you.

She does drawings with colour too, but somehow the black and white ones are the most striking.
