ION was not at all crowded today and just so pretty. The best part is, it was empty. I finally got to go inside the gorgeous ION Christmas Tree, which looks like frosted lily white on the outside and a brilliant sparkly royal purple on the inside. So trippy and beautiful. The most sophisticated looking tree ever.
Many were snapping away at the outside of the tree.
I feel claustrophobic for the life like mannequin who seems to be wanting to escape. Maybe I’m just projecting. I love how the window dresser has placed her hand on the glass and her gaze towards the street.
The Architecture at ION is just so beautiful, that I always end up taking loads of pictures. Love those sexy curves. So feminine.
Vertigo inducing 4 storey escalator. They have placed glass panelling on the sides of the elevator for safety. Don’t seem to have noticed that before.
Love the shadow of the swimming carp effect. This is the part of ION just above Orchard MRT.
More of the spacious top floors. The open effect, warm lighting, cream marble floors and chandeliers create a kind of opulence that you don’t see on the basement floors. I wonder what the opinion of a professional architect would be when they compare this mall to Nex.
Christmas decorations are still here and it’s great since there are 12 days of Christmas.
Pretty dollhouse in the authentic Cuckoo Clock shop with clocks from Germany, right at the top.
The carpark (parking garage) in this mall even has a valet service and there is loads of room for manoeuvering turns.
AHH! Is this the same tree by Orchard Road?! I loved that tree, and any other tree with the same concept. It is just so cool, and I have yet to see anything like it where I live. Happy Holidays!
Yes it is! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season too 🙂
I really liked the pic with the mannequin placing her hand on the window. What camera do you use to take ur photos?
me too….it was one of those unexpected moments for a good shot. Use a compact Nikon coolpix.
