Wanderlust: A Little Hotel in Little India

I adore the name and uniqueness of Wanderlust. This little boutique hotel is full of charm.

We were welcomed by a skinny, young, Indian guest manager as we entered to have a quick look at the lobby. He wore the hotel uniform of a purple waist coat, and he was so warm and welcoming. He told us of the bar and a little French restaurant at the back where you have to make a reservation two weeks in advance as it’s really popular (perhaps due to the festive season). The restaurant is called Cocotte and a local blog, I just stumbled upon, did a great review here. The only problem is, the lack of parking space as this place is mainly for travellers after all.

This hotel looks really cool on the outside! It seems that boutique hotels have been popping up all over the place. Wonder if people are jaded with the big chains? The problem with boutique hotels is that the rooms tend to be tiny. It would be great if the lobby lounge is a nice place to hang out.

Happy 2011 to you too! The 1 memorable thing about my blogging life in 2010 was making friends with you!
