Rody at Liang Court

When I was a child I has a huge rocking horse made of metal.  Kids love rocking horses and I think the Rody is is cute idea for tots.  Saw this at the lovely Japanese kid’s store, Greenberry Loft when I was at Liang Court. It’s not quite a rocking horse but more of a bouncy toy.

Oh..I love Rody… Do you know if they are up for sale? Would make a fun decor item for the home 😉

Yeah… I only have a fur-kid at home who’s already scared of my plastic toy-dog. This Rody toy would definitely make a fun decor item for my place. Shall head on down to Liang Court to check it out soon 🙂

  3. Thanks for featuring Rody! Rody is really popular in Japan, and they are a big hit there! We’re going to try to create the same Rody buzz here in our Tiny Island 🙂

We’ve got more colours coming up! Do keep an eye out for it.

Rody is also getting big among the upper middle class mommy’s in the US. Upscale baby stores carry them, but they’re not that affordable as they’re important from Italy.

We got Elanor one when she was 3 months old. At that age, we were encouraged to hold her and bounce her gently on Rody. As it’s made in Europe (where they have really high children’s toy safety rules), it’s safe for her to chew on his ears, and the rubber is quite thick, making it safe.

Once she was bigger, we got a rocker for it (the same company makes one), and she still uses it as one of her rocking horses (she also has the IKEA moose rocker, which we got cheap off Craigs list) today. It should be fine for her to use until she’s 3.

I love that it’s easy to inflate and deflate, making it one of the few toys we traveled with in hand when we moved to Singapore (the majority were in our container). Ours is in such good shape that I imagine we’ll pass it down to #2, whenever he/she happens.

Definitely one of my favorite baby/toddler toys and well worth the money for the duration of time you can use him.

Didn’t realize how good Rody was. Just thought it was cute and i like the colours. The red rocking moose from ikea is nice!

All these look great as decor items as well 🙂
