My Train Guide: MRT Stations Linked to Malls & Shopping Places

Lazy me adores malls that are linked to MRT stations.  Here’s the list I have been working on.  Hope it helps if you’re visiting the island, are on a budget, and don’t want to take a taxi. I think our government has done a great job with this and I just love that there is artwork at each and every train station. Just don’t try to take the train during peak hours as the trains can be super packed. It’s quite relaxing when you can get a seat on weekdays at off peak hours.

Here’s where you can find the latest map which I took a screenshot of.

I have absolutely no sense of direction which is why I love looking at the map in terms of the colours. Makes it so much easier. Guess I am more of a visual person.

Oh I love this post! I’m a fellow lazy-shopper also!

I think you missed Plaza Singapura at Dhoby Ghaut (red/yellow/purple) and I think from Esplanade Station (yellow) you can take the City Link mall to get to Marina Square (never going above ground).
