For betal leave chewers I think, an activity my grandma used to indulge in, but I was too small to recall. I really do wonder what it tastes like.
I found the video interesting, demonstrating how the betal leaf was prepared. It was quite an addictive habit and rare to spot these days, in Singapore I mean. These days we are addicted to things like coffee – that’s me at least.
this activity is quite common in southeast asia right? Espeically in Cambodia and Sri Lanka I think….
