Old Singapore at City Plaza

City Plaza is a really old shopping centre at 810 Geylang Road. The nearest MRT is Paya Lebar. It’s like time stood still here, as it remains very much in the 70’s.

Most people come here for the Arnold’s which is famous for it’s fried chicken. It was way too crowded when we were there with a waiting time of at least 45 minutes so we decided to skip it and explore the rest of the place.

This item was called space bun. The tea was pretty good at this coffee shop food court at the top level of the mall.

What’s a space bun? Is it something that’s like a cream sandwich?

Apparently the Ban Mian there is famous, you can try it the next time you head back there. 😉

Haha it’s called a space bun because there’s empty space in it…
Thanks for this post, now I feel like going there for a visit. Never tried Arnolds. Have you?
