Orchard Central: What I Liked and One Thing I Didn’t

I quite like Orchard Central because there are new interesting things sold here. I also like the open design and the fact that there’s a Tully’s and now Genki Sushi here. This place really seems to be all about the latest trends.

Some kind of table football competition.

So much open space and natural light. And there’s even a wall for rock climbing. This is turning out to be a mall with a difference. Not that I could ever rock climb or want to.

Yoga mats that come in prettier shades than I normally see at the Sports stores.

And the most humongous planter I have ever seen being sold in a mall. I could imagine this in the middle of a posh hotel perhaps.

I really want to try out Genki Sushi one day soon.

And when Tully’s gets too crowded there’s also Cold Stone Creamery or Coffee Bean where you can sit next to the water features. Running water is always calming. Calming that is, till the Host’s voice over the PA system started blasting. The volume was just too loud. It’s better when there’s no ‘show’ on when you’re there. The only downside was this.
