Nothing beats pink – it was so beautiful seeing those balloons go up in the video. Read this wonderful article by blogger Kirsten with loads of photos from the event. Loved this one Kirsten shot, of Vincent Wijeysingha and he’s making me crave for tapioca chips. Look through all her photos and you can spot Lawyer M Ravi, Michelle Lee and other familiar faces. Crystal talks about the event in her blog too. Another must read.
Two of my family members were there in the crowd of 10,000 and I was trying to spot them in this video. They felt that it was cool that the event was sponsored by Google Singapore and it was very impressive. Makes me love Google a whole lot more. I was totally in love with those pink fans they brought home too. They were in my favourite shade of bubblegum pink. Everything was so well done.
My favourite interviewees were the Malay mum and her daughter. Yahoo Singapore reported on the event too with contrasting photos showing how the turnout was more than double this time.

My cousin said that the crowd was so big that there was not enough room to even form a dot and it just became a pink park. A pink park of love.
Yeah it turned into a Pink Park because when people were trying to form the Dot they kept spilling out onto the pavement!
Yup Vincent Wijeysingha was there, and I also spoke to Jarrod Luo and Michelle Lee. Nicole Seah was there too although I didn’t see her myself…
I am looking at your wonderful photos on flicker now… would have loved to see Vincent in pink…..and he’s making me crave for those tapioca chips 🙂
He didn’t wear pink because apparently the red was the closest to pink he owns! LOL… people kept teasing him about how he must have mistaken the event for an SDP rally. 😉
heheh that’s cute 🙂 I think the next time he gets a present…it’ll be a pink shirt 🙂
Thanks for the link love!
I love that interview, too.
I loved your blog post and just wanted more people to read it.
