It was a mighty hot 36 degrees celcius today which converts to 97 degrees Farenheit (may not sound too bad, but imagine muggy humidity of around 78%).
But there is an upside. Later in the day I looked up and saw the most amazing thunderstorm clouds forming. Never seen them so swirly before.
My photos do not in any way capture the raw power of the sky today. Will try harder the next time the sky has me awe struck.
Wow scary and awesome!
Brilliant pictures, tinyisland. Beautiful
thank you so much 🙂
Great clouds! I hope you were near a shelter!
oh yes I was…..we don’t really get much scary weather….just frequent and sudden thunderstorms.
I love looking at clouds! But so often we’re so busy we forget to look up. 🙂
Since I’ve been having panic attacks and claustrophobia, looking up is one way I console myself 🙂
Oh wow, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed clouds being swirly like that! Looks quite menacing. Actually the thunderstorms we sometimes get can be quite scary! I remember hearing huge tree branches breaking off as a kid when we lived near a forested area.
It was actually a lot scarier than what my photo shows. Almost looked tornado like.
I want!
All we have in India is the sun. And it get’s boring after i while, if you know what I mean.
I am glad we get the rain to cool us down after days of sun 🙂 What about the monsoon rains in India. I believe there is even monsoon tourism now?
