Second Visit to Long Phung at Joo Chiat

It’s so wonderful that Singapore is becoming more of a melting pot, with authentic cuisines from all over the world. May not be as good as what you get in Vietnam, but this is so much more authentic than the big restaurants that charge you a whole lot more.

Tried the fried spring rolls and Chicken vermicelli soup. Preferred the pho noodles, but this soup was tastier and not as sweet. I was also given fish sauce on the side to add to the soup as I wished. The fried spring rolls were yummy although they are not on the menu and seem more Chinese style than Vietnamese. The fresh spring rolls were so good we had them again. Somehow the place wasn’t as crowded at night as it was during weekend lunch.
