These photos are from April when I was so caught up with Election fever that I couldn’t bring myself to blog about anything else. Tell me if notice any changes since then, as Singapore evolves as such a rapid pace. There’s always a store down and a new one in its place in a matter of months. Products change pretty quickly too.
I was probably attracted to the cute Pacman like characters on display at this Wheelock Place store.
Took this apparently on a day close to Good Friday.
That was when we would have never imagined that Borders Singapore would close.
I’ve never eaten at this restaurant but it looks enticing. I’m not even sure if it’s still around.
Here I’ve move on to ION’s food hall in the basement.
The Missing F at Food Opera, that’s probably been replaced since.
If you didn’t know there is a small eating area if you chose to buy food from the little kiosks.
I like the Vietnamese Baguettes at the Orange Lantern although some may find it a little sweet.
Hokkaido Milk Ice-cream is a weakness of mine.
Especially with chocolate sauce.
I just adore Japanese signages that are so darn cute.
More adorable.
I find these S$2 boxes at Daiso very useful when I’m in a packing mood.
I haven’t been into Daiso for a long time. Always put off by the long queues at the checkout. But I do like browsing when there is no crowd.
Loved these cobalt blue bowls – my favourite shade of blue.
Little cups galore. Great to stick your toothbrush and toothpaste into.
These makes me wish I was a school kid again.
Cool Window display I noticed as I walked on to Takashimaya.
Just catching up on your blog!
I have SUCH a weakness for Daiso. Maybe because it’s cheap, maybe because I find wacky stuff there (a gift bag to “sweet my heart” instead of “my sweetheart) or because it’s just full of randomness. But I love it…and having one closer to me than Vivo is a win in my book.
Thanks Crystal 🙂
yeah it’s always interesting because there’s always something new.
