The surprisingly good Piccolo Latte. Dare I say almost at Oriole’s standards?
This cost a reasonable S$4.90, although it is quite a small cup and I was yearning for another.
The prettiest looking Matcha Latte I’ve seen yet. It cost S$6.20 and the whole bill came to S$13.05 including GST and service charge.
The menu has a whole array of drinks but I don’t think I will ever order the Kopi Luwak at a whopping S$26.90. That’s the famous civet cat coffee (beans extracted from their poop as these animals have discerning taste).
Love the layers.
It was pretty comfortable to sit on sofas rather than the usual wooden chairs.
The only thing that needed improvement was the service, especially with service charges imposed here (maybe a tipping service system would work a whole lot better). This cafe got pretty bad reviews here, but I didn’t read them before coming here. But the older man whom I think is the owner saved the day saying thank you softly as we left. Have you been here before? How did you find the coffee and service? I always like to get more opinions because tastes and standards tend to be subjective.
I’ve not been here but I would quite like to try the civet coffee, just to say I’ve done it even though it is pretty expensive!
that’s great…once you try it you can tell how it was….can’t wait to read that post 🙂
Does BMC move out of 313 or?
I think it’s closed…not sure.
