Singapore Botanic Gardens: Most Serene Place in the City (Part 1 of 4)

When I feel frazzled, just being in a place where there is a strong natural element, makes me feel serene. Which is why I love the Botanic Gardens.

This time we explored just the area around the Visitor’s Centre and I was impressed as always.

The first thing we saw were these beautiful red palms. Definitely one of the most attractive car parks around.

Wooden path flanked by green. Up ahead is where you can get a taxi.

How relaxing, to have a meal while listening to the rushing water from the many little fountains. No wonder Casa Verde is always full of people.

Wish I could have a water feature like this at home. The sound of the water just melts the weight of the world away. Even my star sign is water. Definitely prefer travelling by sea, and I don’t ever get sea sick (touch wood).

You can sit at this waiting area with a book. It seems to be separate from the cafe, with a couple of benches so you can take refuge if you’re tired, or if it rains.

Been a while since we visited the Botanic garden. I think E would like to ride her trike there.
