The LV Structure on the Water at Marina Bay Sands

The Louis Vitton floating shop on the water is the latest thing to check out, at Marina Bay Sands. It looks pretty impressive, all lit up. At first I didn’t want to go in, thinking the place must be very atas. But the people within turned out to be quite welcoming and it was nice to be kaypoh and view what was within.

I was surprised to get back into the mall (Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands) when we exited. It was all linked within.

I think it’s a pretty building, but it makes me roll my eyes that it’s another LV store…how many does Singapore really need?

so so true. I don’t really like carrying bags with the logos all over them. I prefer to look for design and quality. Always feel that we end up paying for the brand.

To be fair, I walk around with a Coach bag, emblazoned with their logo. My beef (haha) with LV is that they take this gorgeous soft cow leather and ruin it by making it feel like plastic, and then charge me 10x for the privlege.

I always thought LV bags felt like canvas and plasticky…now I know why. Actually I wouldn’t mind the logo as long as the texture is lovely and the colour/design/ structure is nice.
