I am always curious about WordPress Stats, blog traffic and how it evolves over time. Mine has been erratic over the months. I think just ignore the months April, May and August where the traffic spikes. That was during the elections when loads of Singaporeans were trying to get hold of an alternative point of view and did not want to rely just one source. I can imagine that established political bloggers probably got a million hits during those months and servers crashed as well.
So this was my traffic since I started in mid February till December 7th, 9 months later. I only started really focusing solely on this blog in September. Before that I only cared about my original blog Tiny Island which as on the free WordPress, but have since merged them and ported over all my posts.
Doing very well =) Maybe I should go and dig out my stats too! Haha~
Thanks Claudia….I think it’s got to do with posting a lot and obsessively sometimes 😉
Haha. I just blogged a lot a few hours earlier!
That’s great! 🙂 It’s much higher than mine, haha!
Thanks Kirsten…..it’s got to do with the number of posts I have….find that when I don’t post the traffic goes down…but sometimes it’s good to have an internet break. I tend to post obsessively sometimes…..find writing to be therapy when I’m anxious.
I was experiencing a regular increase until August of this year, had a big dip in September, up in October, back down in November. Maybe i’ve been boring of late?
Mine’s pretty erratic as well. You’re definitely far from boring. I don’t check out everyone on my blogroll regularly, but Expat Bostonians is my daily fix 🙂
thank you! That means a lot to hear…Singapore Actually is on my daily list too, even if I don’t manage to comment every day 🙂
