The always lovely Lady J, was so kind to nominate me for the Liebster Blog Awards. She’s a Singaporean who is currently living the expat life in Switzerland. But she’s be back in Singapore soon and blogging about local delights. To me she is the fashion and beauty expert, so do check out her blog, Lady J’s musings and you’ll be hooked by her daily exploits. I love awards that have a pay if forward element that draws attention to all our favourite daily reads and lovely people in the community. Lady J was nominated by Jeannie of Gracefully 50 and hers is another blog that’s worth checking out.
I do appreciate my fellow blogger and will devote this one to 5 ladies. It was so hard to narrow the choices down though, as there are so many I love.
Here are my 5 nominees whom I have ‘known’ in the blog world for what seems like a long time. They are kind and supportive and their blogs keep me rivetted. Their blogs also educate me and allow me to see the world through a different perspective. Reading their blogs is a daily fix for me even though I may not always leave a comment:
1. Crystal at Expat Bostonians
2. Kixes at Funny Little World
3. Laura at Expat Adventures in Singapore
5. Had to include one guy in this list. Orange Foam Finger from New Zealand. His blog posts never fail to entertain.
Here are the rules for the award:
This award is given to bloggers with less than 200 followers who deserve more recognition. (Donno if I really kept to this rule though)
Here are the rules for the award and I look forward to reading about whom you will nominate. In German Liebster means dearest or favourite and this is the best sort of chain post:
Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
Give your top 5 picks for the award.
Inform your top 5 by leaving a comment on their blog.
Post the award on your blog.
Please do check out all the lovely bloggers in the blogroll below as well. This was done off the cuff and I wish I could include them all and more (bloggers I follow on Twitter).
