Tea Cosy at Plaza Singapura

We had the set which cost just S$30 for two people.  The portions were very little but it was enough for us.  I guess petite is good when you don’t want to get too full. Even though the quality of the bites were not great, it was nice to sit in a cosy and empty little place and be able to chat and enjoy each other’s company.  The tea was pretty ordinary too although the service was polite and cheery. It wasn’t as nice as the posh high tea at The Fullerton Bay, but I was so grateful for the lovely company I had while enjoying the relaxed high tea at Tea Cosy. I always pass by and can finally say I tried it.

Among the items I would say the scones were ok.

My cousin felt the little cakes were fine too.

I must say that pretty tea sets make all the difference.

I added pink to the picture to create an even prettier effect. Love vintage effects.

This is a quirky little place. I saw the afternoon tea set but I was afraid that for the price, there wouldn’t be too much food. The ala carte menu is pretty good too.

it’s true, you probably don’t want to come for the tea set if you skipped lunch. But it was fine for us and I kinda was glad I didn’t end up feeling too stuffed.
