Back at Scotts Square to enjoy the space and to try out Wild Honey. You can read about my first visit where I tried out Maison Kayser’s pastries.
Wild Honey seems like a place where people want to go to be seen (not my kind of thing but I must say the food here was good). It’s an old day breakfast place. I loved the bacon and the pancakes were so thick and good (but need to be shared with at least three people. I ended up feeling so stuffed.
This set was the Canadian Breakfast.
The scrambled eggs and brioche that part of the English breakfast were so good too. I don’t know all the fancy food terminology so I never used them. All I know is what’s yummy to me.
The moroccan chicken pie looked so good, but it was a tad sweet for our Singaporean tastebuds used to spicy peppery chicken pie.
The decor of the place is dim and quite attractive. Loads of mainly well dressed girls in their twenties.
I’m still in love with this striking piece of art in an otherwise stark almost clinical looking mall.
Michael Kors who seemed rather bitchy to me on that show Project Runway. Don’t know what being mean to contestants has become entertainment and that includes American Idol which I’ve stopped watching for some time.
Couple of luxury stores here that I won’t be patronizing as I don’t really buy luxury goods.
Thought the blouse in the window would be a good option for work.
Sincere, the luxury watch store.
There’s an NTUC Finest here.
Spotted a Valhrona chocolate section.
I like that there’s a Guardian here. I am always in the need of stuff like mouthwash or toothpaste.
There’s an authorized Apple dealer called Epicentre here. It’s a good place to come to buy an iPhone assessories or an iPad. I like it because it’s so empty and isolated. Of course nothing would beat a real Apple store. The service here was better than what I experienced at the branch at Somerset 313.
Took some shots of the directory, so you can have a look at the Dining and Shopping options here. It’s a tiny relatively empty mall (I hope it stays that way) and that’s what appeals to me and I suspect many may not like this.
On level 3 is where Wild Honey and Crystal Jade Kitchen are located.
And there’s La Luna Rossa on level 2 which I’d like to try.
The luxury stores on Level 1:
Epicentre is at B1 where the NTUC Finest and Maison Kayser are also located. Delicious is a dessert place with the bird cage decor, that looks interesting.
Why isn’t there an apple store in Singapore? Playing homage to apple stores are always in my travel itinerary.
Maybe our market is too small? But we have 5 million folks here. I hope they bring it here soon.
We only have just over 1 million in perth and we have an apple store.
seriously? I didn’t know there was one in Perth. Yeah then it should come to Singapore. We have more phone crazy people 😉
Love all day breakfast! Will have to check it out!
loved the bacon and pancakes especially 🙂
