Central: Japanese Supermarket Treats

You can find the sweetest packaging here and it’s especially enticing to girls. Saw some delighted young ladies choosing their treats for the week.

Was excited to see Moomin biscuits, having recently fallen in love with these characters in Helsinki and Stockholm.

I also love all the drink names that sound funny and odd. Lost in translation I guess.

My favourite snack is this chocolate rice crispy like treat.

More irresistably sweet packaging.

The colours are all so pretty and you can find all sorts of flavours.

Milk candy is also popular, although I would find it a bit too sweet.

I like finding smaller cans of coke. I can never finish the full can. Half is just perfect.

Hi, would like to know where is this Japanese Supermarket? Is this the one at liang court?

    Cheers.

No it’s the one at the Central – in the basement (the mall just across from Clarke Quay that has loads of Restaurants). It’s connected to Clarke Quay MRT. So glad you dropped by Dolly 🙂
