We Just Discovered Rochester Mall (& a Peek at the Directory)

I like discovering new places because if I don’t I think I’ll be bored to death in Singapore which is so tiny we often keep going back to the same old places.

Rochester Mall is not fully open yet, but it has the loveliest looking Starbucks. It’s at 35 Rochester Drive in case you were wondering. Near Buona Vista MRT. It has a Facebook Page too.

There’s a pie place called Pies and Coffee, and a pasta fresca here as well. Just note that things here are a tad more expensive.

Inside the Starbucks which has more food options than usual and Starbucks mugs unique to this outlet.

The dining outlets are located a bit away from the mall itself so they may be hard to find the first time around.

It’s a real tiny mall and I think it has been built for the Scientists working and living in the area. It’s a mall and a hotel. I love all the green, wood and the design is really nice. It seems to be pretty kid centric too, probably for the employees and their childcare needs?

A look at the directory.

It was mostly the dining options that piqued my interest since most of the shops are not open yet.

I can’t exclaim enough how nicely designed this place is.

Great design and the first thing I noticed with the futuristic looking dustbins in multi colours.

I really like seeing water features in malls.

Right now parking is free too. That won’t last for long I suspect.

I’m eagerly anticipating the opening of the supermarket there — it’ll be one of the closest ones to where I live!

The Starbucks is just as charming as it looks, and prices are the same as any other.

It’s a really lovely place. I love that it’s pretty empty right now, apart from the Starbucks which was packed to the gills.

Pretty. I love Rochester Park just up the street, which has an onsite play room, so Ellie can play once she’s done eating and Ravi and I can linger over brunch (while the baby hangs out with us or sleeps)
