I Love Kino
Here’s hoping that the Kino (the bookstore Kinokuniya) never closes down. I particularly love the branch at Liang Court although it has a much smaller selection than the one at Ngee Ann City. The reason why I say this is … Continue reading

After gorging on laksa, we were strolling around the Alexandra area in an effort to feel less bloated. Nothing much to see. Mostly shops selling tyres and car assessories here. Saw some really weird car signs. Boredom and blogging makes … Continue reading

Beautiful Articulate Bobbi Kristina in an interview with Oprah
I felt so moved by this interview that Oprah had with Bobbi Kristina about the loss of her mum Whitney Houston. It’s pretty hard to watch, but I am blown away by how articulate and strong she is. Lights flickering, … Continue reading

Changi City Point: Food Court
Had a fruit snack at the very bright and airy Changi City Point food court. The watermelon was not very sweet but the honey mango was so good. I like seeing green when I look out the huge glass panels. … Continue reading

Kallang Leisure Park: Yoguru & Awfully Chocolate
Between these two places, I would say go for Yoguru. They advertise their frozen yoghurt to have live cultures which is something that you have to look out for if you want to be healthy. I have heard that some … Continue reading

I’m usually bored stiff at places like Funan, so my interest was piqued when I passed by these two shops I hadn’t seen before. The Maid Cafe was empty when we were walking past it. It’s actually called Cawaii Koohii … Continue reading

The Majestically Beautiful Dome of the Old Supreme Court Building
This was taken from Central. I am always impressed by this structure constructed between 1937-1939. So much better than the new Supreme Court Building which looks like a flying saucer and I feel quite an eyesore. Guess I just prefer … Continue reading

Singapore Trees & My Thoughts about Wedding Car Decorations
Ok. Singapore really is a garden city and even though I’ve lived here all my life, I am still impressed by the canopy of trees shading our highways and the pretty palms lined up near the airport. Always fun to … Continue reading
