Gelare at Vivo: My Sandwich was Too Dry

I was wondering whether to talk about my crappier food experiences. I’m always not as motivated to blog about my not so great experiences. But then again how would you then know not to waste your calories. I generally like Gelare at Vivo and the best part is when it’s empty and everywhere else is so packed. The tuna sandwich would have been good if the bread hadn’t been toasted so much it totally dried out. The bread just tasted so dry – in between biscuit and sawdust quality. The crips were ok and the tuna, lettuce and tomato filling was nice, but the bread spoilt it. I like the waffles and ice cream here so I’d say stick to those. But perhaps it was just an off day. Often in Singapore it’s hard to find cafes where service and quality of food is consistent.

The Flat White was just ok I guess. Not on par with those little outlets specializing in coffee but better than the chain outlets.

The best part of it all – peaceful and empty. And the girl serving was nice and polite.
