High Society: Lovely Chocolate Cocktail & Cupcakes

Glad D brought me here. It was her second time and my first and I was impressed by the tiny lemon cupcake I had. It was moist and the frosting was not too sweet. D liked her red velvet cupcake too. Next time I would order the chocolate cocktail instead of the white sangria which tasted more like punch. Had sips of D’s drink and it was so good but a bit too strong for me. I would have to nurse it for ages as I am not used to drinking alcohol. Just one drink will get me really sleepy. Have never been drunk in my life. So what do you think? Should I have that on my bucket list? Or is it just not worth it. I’d probably just fall asleep before I get drunk.

If I want tea I would still head to TWG but this is a good place for cocktails and cupcakes.

Cool to spot the Pledge installation.

ALthough it was super hard to get the attention of the wait staff I am glad they served us water for free when we requested it. And I don’t mind being left alone and not chased off. Although I have read some pretty bad reviews of this place online. That’s why experiences are so subjective. I guess the company you’re with and the mood you’re in would matter a lot too.

They serve you water for free? The last time they charged my friend and I $8 for water. The most exp water I’ve ever drunk.

Hey Claudia. They asked us “Sparkling or Still” and I then asked for tap water. I think that was the trick. Restaurants always try and push the expensive sparkling and still.

  2. Claudia says:

Oh. We asked for ice water and they just served us the bottled still water. Didn’t ask us anything.

  3. Claudia says:

But they didn’t ask us sparkling or still. They just served us the expensive water.

Oh boy, that’s terrible. Sounds like you were ripped off and thanks for the warning for other people who might drop by there.
