Food Republic Taking Over Parkway Parade Food Court

I was forlorn to find the foodcourt at Parkway Parade under renovation. I know, a tad dramatic. But I did like coming here for the soya beancurd (tau huay), yellow bean fritters (ham chin pang), mee siam, mee rebus and curry chicken. I like Food Republic, but couldn’t help wondering what would become of the previous vendors. Apart from the ham chin pang everything good was at the stall called Mee Rebus. I’ll get to know in November when this new Branch of Food Republic opens. There is some forum discussion about it too. Here someone mentions that the Mee Rebus stall is moving to Junction 8.

Not looking forward to yet another Din Tai Fung.

Don’t like the changes at Parkway Parade. First Borders Bookstore is replaced by Uniqlo and now this? But perhaps I will change my mind later. I sometimes have to eat my words.

The nasi Padang shop, the mee rebus shop which has the best curry chicken… I’m really upset that they are replaced by food republic. Does anyone knows where has the mee rebus shop moved to?
