Both my mum and I found the swans the most captivating. They were so fairy tale like. I’m really looking forward to the buzz closer to Deepavali but for now we enjoyed the street decorations. Would be a lot better without the sponsors’ logos though. Makes it so commercialized and just reminds me that I’m not happy with Singtel’s very slow 3G service.

More of the lovely peacock theme decorations. Even if you don’t stop over at Serangoon Road for a meal it’s a real nice time to drive through the area.
