Culina at Dempsey

Recently C asked me for dining options at Dempsey. She was thinking a nice romantic date and I immediately suggested Culina. I didn’t have pictures from my first visit so when we went there for the second time I made sure I took some. Service was friendly and we felt most welcomed. My sister didn’t enjoy her Atlantic Cod as much as I loved my croque monsieur. It was my first time trying Crepe Suzette and now I’m a convert. So good. I think I am starting to have a preference for thin crepes over thick pancakes.

They will ask you sparking or still, but opt for tap like I did.

If we had known the croque monsieur came with salad we wouldn’t have ordered a separate salad.

We were served bread too and it was so chewy and lovely.

Very cosy, pretty decor within the brightly lit Bistro.

The organic chocolates at the grocery section were so tempting.

I want to have this again one day. Loved the orange sauce. It all went so well together.

The last time we came here for lunch, this time it was dinner and we were lucky to get a seat without reservations.

Just look out for Block 8 and the place is very near Jones the Grocer which would have been our next option is we couldn’t get a seat here. Culina closes at 9pm, so I guess we were not too late that day as we only made it there at 8 pm. Here is the full bistro menu in case you wanna check it out. I like looking at the menus online before I head to a restaurant, just in case they don’t have anything I like or prices are too steep. Prices here are pretty steep but it was a special occasion and I was getting a treat.
