Marks & Spencer Bakery (Wheelock Place)

Everything smells so good here. The wafting scent of freshly baked bread can make you weak in the knees. Pity there is no cafe where you can have a seat or a drink.

A walk through this place can really ruin a diet. I really love all the biscuits and chocolates here. My absolute favourite. Came here with two adorable kids recently and they were begging their mum for tidbits. They could choose just one each, but I could understand. It’s so hard.

I never realised there was a bakery at the M&S at Wheelock – I need to investigate. I love picking up things from the M&S food courts here though, little reminders of yummy things from home. In the UK lots of M&S’s do have cafes and my Mum and I often go as all the cakes etc. are M&S products and all very good. I wish they had a cafe here too.

I think there used to be one at Centrepoint but I’m not sure if it’s still there. M&S chocolates are my faves…and the biscuits…and the toffees… 😉

The cafe at M&S Centrepoint closed sometime back. Used to love going there when i worked in the somerset area, because it’s usually less crowded (obviously not so on weekends) but they have rather limited food items on sale, definitely not the lovely pastries/bread they now sell in the Wheelock outlet.

I was just at Wheelock on Saturday and finally caved to the temptation of the wonderful smell of freshly-baked stuff! OMG, I bought some granola pie (or whatever it was called) and a raisin roll, and they were so good!
