Since my blog diary has been empty for quite some time I thought I’d load my pictures first…with the words to come later….
Ok I can’t procrastinate any longer. But yes it was our second time at this new revamped tea (more like a lunch buffet, as we took the noon to 2.30pm slot) and I can see a third time on the horizon. Well one can hope.
The quality and variety of the food (better than my usual favourite – Rose Veranda at Shangri-la) is the best as high teas in Singapore go, and the service is much improved. I saw a couple of new items in the dessert section including a pink marshmellow smore like thing you can dip in chocolate. Very sweet but hard to resist. The satay was yummy and I kept going back for more. We are really spoilt when it comes to food in Singapore – we have so much variety too. I often take it all for granted.
To me and most girls I know, high tea is one of the nicest ways to celebrate a birthday.
Lovely food. I hope my daughter is going to see your post. She is at present in Singapore, but only for one week. The pictures are truly mouth-watering!
I hope she has a wonderful time here with loads of yummy meals. Always happy to see you here Aunty Uta 🙂
You celebrated a birthday? Well, wishing you many Happy Returns!
was someone in the family..they will be happy to get your wishes too 🙂 Thanks Aunty Uta
Hmm….Looks yummy. Was contemplating where to go and now you have given me more ideas. Used to love Hyatt, but dont mind trying this for a change.
This tea is nicer than the current one at Hyatt. I used to go to Hyatt only in the 90’s too.
