In the East of Singapore

Lovely canopy of trees and it was pretty relaxing even though it was the weekend. I guess we got lucky with the timing as people were leaving as we arrived at the Starbucks at Big Splash.

(Wrote the post some time ago for White As Milk, but in light of the horrifying events in Boston….everything else seems trivial. When something horrific happens especially when it’s least expected it leaves you stunned and the world seems smaller as all of us are connected in our humanity.)

These trees are described nicely in a new book about Singapore at http://www.amazon.com/Come-As-You-Arent-ebook/dp/B00CDZFH2Q
