City Square for Kiddie Stuff

These days I’m interested in shopping – if it’s for baby or kiddie stuff. Recently I found that City Square is one such place.

Hi bookjunkie! I couldn’t find an email address for you on this site (very possibly due to baby brain on my side) but we’ve just moved to near Ikea on Alexandra Road and I’ve heard there is some good food to be had near here… The thing is, I wouldn’t know where to start! I’m not picky with my palate (although super spicy is not me, nor us) but I was hoping you, as an expert on Singaporean food and hawker food, could help me out a little..? Some advice what to eat at which food court would be greatly appreciated 😀 so I’ll finally get something else besides chicken rice, chicken curry and popiah (which I really, really love, by the way).

In that area there is the Anchor Point Mall food court. For hawker centres I like Alexandra Village (char siew rice, avacado drink & claypot laksa). They have tons of stalls there which I haven’t tried as I keep going back for my faves. There is also ABC hawker centre where I’ve had good popiah. Oh yes, inside Queensway shoopping centre (great for deals on stuff like track shoes) I do like the curry chicken with bread.

Will look out for more when I’m in that area again.

I guess another choice would be Tanglin Mall which is not too far away by cab.
