New Mall: Paya Lebar Square

Lately there have been a number of new malls opening in the East of Singapore. Paya Lebar Square is convenient as it’s attached to the Paya Lebar MRT.  Just across this mall you can walk to the Singpost building which also has shops and eateries.

The most impressive thing I saw were the live performances by the teachers at the Viva school of Music and Ballet – singing and saxophone playing. It looks small but the teachers seem rather talented.

There was more than one bread shop but my pick would be Crystal Jade.  There was also more than one fruit stall.

Wanted to have a burger at Mos Burger but it was just too cramped and tiny. We didn’t want to sit outside under the boiling heat and I didn’t care to have fast food from McDonalds or Burger King instead.

There is a Giant supermarket here, but on the whole I am not that impressed by this mall. Well at least I should be grateful there is some air-conditioned mall where I can sit for a drink to kill time, if I need to meet someone near Paya Lebar MRT station.
