I Have Cancer: Synchronous Ovarian & Endometrial Cancer

This feels unreal to me, even now, after months of knowing. Felt surreal and indulgent as I typed out that title.

It’s why I have not been writing in ages. I’ve only had the energy to update my Instagram with photos. Instagram has been such a nice distraction during hospital stays, chemo and when I’m having insomnia, like right now. And I want to thank the kind bloggers on Instagram and Twitter who have sent encouraging messages.

I miss the blogging community here and have been aching to get back into the swing of things. Been pondering whether to start a whole new blog just focusing on the cancer thing but I guess this is me now. I still want to instill a feeling of happiness related to living in Singapore, as well as help others who may be just as dumbstruck as me to be hit by cancer.

Will be writing more and in short snippets.

It has been a while since I last visited your blog.
I thought you quit blogging and moved to other matters in your life.
So, it comes as a great shock that you are down with sickness.

Hope you have strong faith in your recovery and take this time to clean out any negative energy and feelings deep within yourself.

    Take Care !!!!

(Sorry, I jumped to your initial post as I have not covered your postings within the month of April. Hope your conditions would have improved as I write this response.)

Thank you so much. Really appreciate that you’ve been reading all this while. I’m going through chemo as I write this but your message encourages me.

  7. Fahad Asif says:

    Hi,

I hope my message finds you well. I represent Atheneum Partners – a German research firm. We are doing a research study to gain better understanding of the Endometrial Cancer in Singapore. More specifically, we want to understand patient journey, current treatments, identify areas for support and unmet needs for Endometrial Cancer patients. The research study is being sponsored by a pharmaceutical company.

Our client is in Singapore and they would like to have a 60-mins face-to-face meeting with you to discuss your patient journey. As a token of appreciation, we would be happy to pay you USD100/- for your participation in this research study.

Happy to share more details about this research project. It would be great if you can provide your contact number and a good time to reach you.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

    Best regards,
    Fahad
