Found this vintage Singapore tourism advert from 1974 where the catchphrase was Singapore the sunny smile isle. Charming wasn’t it. I think life was less stressful then and we probably smiled a whole lot more.
Today the latest advertising campaign is on line and called ‘Your Singapore’ launched in March this year. Our previous campaign was ‘Uniquely Singapore’. I somehow miss the charm of a simple poster type advert with people in it. I must admit the 2010 website is pretty impressive, even for a local like me. Quite a number of places I have yet to explore.
