Berry Yoghurt at Yoguru

B really likes the yoghurt at Yoguru. This is at the outlet at the mall in the East called Kallang Leisure Park. It’s just beside the Starbucks. He usually goes for the plain one but he now likes the berry too. I find it too sour and too sweet all at the same time. I don’t care much for the frozen yoghurt trend.

Not that I’m a health nut or anything (far from it), but I prefer to take my traditional super sour natural yoghurt with rice and dhall. I am also suspicious of non-fat yoghurt, which tastes like it is loaded with sugar, compared to the traditional one you find at Little India. I did a bit of checking and it’s 160 calories and 34grams of sugar for a small cup. As you know by now, I’m all about taste. For that amount I’d rather indulge and have ice cream. I checked. Ben and Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream is 260 calories and 24grams of sugar for a portion size, but it’s 14grams fat as well.

Anyway Yoguru has a website and you can check out the locations of the various outlets there.

When I was at this mall in the East of Singapore, something else caught my eye. There’s now an awfully Chocolate cafe nearby and they sell chocolate muffins, ice cream and slices of their cake as well. Was way to full to have any of it today though, but possibly another time when the chocolate craving strikes.
