Cedele at Raffles City

Blew my diet again, once I saw the generous topping on the cupcake. It was orange flavoured icing on a banana cupcake and wouldn’t that have won you over too? Sadly I was disappointed. The cupcake was dry and the icing sweet to the point that if I had finished it I would definitely get diabetes. I love sweet things but this time I felt I was eating sugar. The cappuccino was dilute. Maybe I should stick to the tarts.

Sometimes I end up sitting at a cafe just because I want to sit down. I actually wanted to have an iced latte at Starbucks (at the entrance as you exit City Hall MRT Station) but it was so crowded. There’s no more air-conditioning too, and that spoils the place for me. I figure I will just have a drink but end up looking at the tantalizing display of treats and always end up picking one. The visual appeal of food always gets me into trouble. Often I get disappointed when something does not taste as good as it looks. And then all I can think is that I wasted my calories.
