The cream puffs by Japanese chain Beard Papa (level 3 I think) are so good, but I haven’t had them in years.
It looks like Supercuts (top floor) caters to tots as well. Little cars for them to sit in while they get their hair cuts. The last time I went to a Supercut seems like way back in 90’s when they had their first branch at Far East Plaza. There were not very many malls back in the day, but we did have majestic theatres.
Still on the top floor I saw this cute dress for little girls and a sweet pink tutu.
This little tot is just so freakin’ cute. She’s a great poster child for Nex.
Just next to the poster is Texas Chicken.
And Leonard Drake, the facial place is here too, which sells products by Dermalogica. I do like their special cleansing gel.
There’s also a place to rent or buy DVDs and music CDs.
The rooftop park for pets is not open yet.
At street level I saw this Korean place that sells shampoos and cleansers.
A directory for one of the levels. I wonder why there isn’t a full directory up at the official website.
You could get an iphone at Nex. I saw all three telephone and network service providers, Singtel, M1 and Starhub at this mall.
A better look at Barcelos which is next to Freshness Burger.
A new concept store from Ya Kun, my sister’s favourite place for kaya toast.
The latest trend – another yoghurt place called Glacious.
Love the Bread Talk raindeer, but I prefer to get my bread from the old fashioned stores at the market.
And another fried chicken place called Broaster Chicken.
This mall really surprises me with the “Super Cuts” (just like is down the street from me) and the Heinz Ketchup at the burger place (in your other post). I would have never thought Singapore would have all the comforts of MY home!
When I was a kid we didn’t have Heinz….I think we only got Heinz in the last decade. Supercuts has been around for about 20 years or more I think. Yeah it’s cool to find out how things are different or the same across the world 🙂

That cute little girl in the ad eating yogurt looked familiar to me….she is in an ad for St Vincent DePaul Society, a charity organization that helps people in need with food and clothing. Interesting how she was used so differently in the two ads!
Wow that’s really interesting. She really is a professional child model.
