Among the little restaurants at Shokutsu10 on the Basement 1 level of Nex, this restaurant called Shimbashi Soba looked appealing with it’s freshly made buckwheat soba. There’s another outlet at Paragon.
The Tempura Seiro cost a whopping S$17.80. The side dishes of Onigiri (S$3.50 and mostly rice wrapped in seaweed) and Inari (S$3 for 2 pieces of rolled rice encased in bean curd skin soaked in sweet soy sauce – I liked) were authentic as well, although just too much starch in one meal. The presentation of all the meals – pretty. With taxes the meal cost S$28.60.
