If I miss a day I hope to make up for it on other days. Actually, I have been posting quite regularly since I started in April 2010. To be honest I have become addicted to blogging as it’s filled a hole for me since I became unemployed. It makes me feel employed and engaged and has added a dimension of wonderful routine to my life. I love the idea of recording and being more self aware of my days.
What I need to do now is not just post every day, but improve the quality of my posts. I just love the idea of joining the WordPress community of writers who are all striving towards this goal. I hope you’ll join me too.
The Post A Day challenge has also got me thinking I should have an article a week challenge for myself that I do offline since I want to become a freelance writer, but just have not got down to writing and submitting articles. This is just due to lack of confidence and discipline.
If you’re a professional freelance writer out there, could you please give me an idea of how long you would take to write an article. is one week too long? Or would you need more time for a well researched piece?
Good luck but I guess you’re on a roll. I can hardly keep up with the posts! 🙂
thanks it helps that I have time…if I was back in the Corporate World it would probably be like 1 post a month at best. That’s why I admire that you can work and blog consistently.
Just a thought, why don’t you try sending your blog to the Singapore tourism board? Sometimes all you need is just shameless self promotion 🙂
thanks for the vote of confidence 🙂 I am hoping to reach 1/4 million hits by my blog’s 1 year anniversary and then I just might.
