#79. Best Air Quality Among Asian Cities

I often gripe that we don’t have great air quality (I’m thinking New Zealand’s pure sweet air that’s been ranked number 1) especially during the months of haze. But I changed my mind after visiting Beijing, Bombay and Vietnam I have a new appreciation for Singapore’s relatively clean air. Especially when Sumatra is not burning their trees. Even during those months our rain usually cleans out the air. At least we don’t have to wear masks all the time like what I saw in Vietnam. We don’t have too many vehicles running on diesel and our good pollution control measures help.

So I thought this would be #79 reason for me to be grateful, happy, and appreciate this tiny island a little more.
