I got interested at the 4 minute point onwards. It’s fascinating for me as Singapore seems an utterly different place. Even the Lion dances and satay were so much more authentic. The only thing that bothered me was the imperialist feeling I get from the video. This was when we were part of Malaya and did not have independence yet. Malaysia only got independence that year. I must confess that I don’t know as much of Singapore and Malaysia history as I should.
